After thirty five years as a graphic designer, Cathy now works on her own ideas.

Inspiration came from a year long course in Advanced printmaking and digital media at City Lit. She found that print wasn’t always two dimensional and created videos and stop motion animation from three dimensional cyanotypes. Her love of silkscreen printing began to develop on this course.

Cathy produces silkscreen prints at Sonsoles in Peckham. Initially working with found photography, she builds layers to create dream like images. Her focus moved to line and shape using colour to create joyful abstract prints.
